Three employees of a contract club were taken to a hospital following an accident at the Mowry natural gas well in Tuscarora Township. Reports vary as to the nature of the accident; scanner reports termed it an explosion, but a spokesman for the operator of the well referred to accident as a "forceful uplift in tubing."
Two of the workers have been released to the hospital after being treated with non-critical injuries. A third contractor is still in the hospital, although he is expected to make a full recovery.
