Worker Killed in Rail Car Accident

Posted on January 4th, 2010 12 Comments

A worker has recently been killed in an accident in which the worker was crushed to death after being pinned against a building by a rail car.  The accident occurred when the railcar jumped off the tracks and pinned the worker against a wall.  The accident caused fatal injuries to the worker and killed him at the scene of the accident.

The man was standing near the tracks using a device to control the rail cars when the accident occurred.  There were no other injuries from this accident.  The accident is currently under investigation to determine why the rail car jumped the tracks.
