Injuries Common for Repetitive Jobs

Posted on October 22nd, 2009 No Comments

For some jobs,  repetitive motion is common throughout the day.  Certain types of jobs have a higher degree of possible injury based on the actual repetitive task being conducted.

For example,  workers on a meat producer line will have to work with a sharp knife and trim the beef quickly and keep up with the pace of the assembly line.  The repetitive nature of the work can cause stress in the arms and hands.  More problems can arise because  the repetitive nature of the work can lead to missteps and accidents.  Many workers are hurt this way each year when they accidently cut into themselves with the sharp knives as a result of losing focus because of the constant repetitive motion.

If you or someone you know has been injured in a work related accident, please contact the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Attorneys of Lowenthal & Abrams, P.C. at 610-667-7511 for more information on your legal right to compensation.
