Crane accidents occur for a variety of reasons.  Cranes have to lift extremely heavy loads and raise these loads very high above the ground.  This can put a tremendous amount of stress on the equipment during this process.  In many cases,  if a crane accident occurs,  the crane was not properly maintained.  Proper maintenance is important.
