Worker Hospitalized at World Trade Center Site

Posted on May 15th, 2009 1 Comment

A worker who was working on the memorial of the World Trade Center site was recently injured in an accident.  While on the job,  the man apparently slipped and fell off a deck.  The man was able to answer questions being asked of him before he was taken to a hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The man was taken to the hospital for injuries that he had on his hips, legs, and shoulders.

The man is one of 189 workers who have been assigned to the construction World Trade Center Memorial and Museum Plaza.  After the accident, the work continued for the day.  It is not believed that the accident was caused by anything in particular, but was just a part of the risks associated with working in construction.

If you or someone you know has been injured in a work related accident, contact the Philadelphia workers' compensation lawyers of Lowenthal & Abrams, P.C. at 610-667-7511 for more information on your legal right to compensation.
