Two workers became trapped on a scaffolding over 16 stories into the air. This event happened in Atlanta last week.
Once emergency officials were notified, fire fighters arrived on the scene. The fire fighters used harnesses and rappelling gear to rescue the workers. Fire fighters attached themselves to the workers, and the rappelled down the building to the ground.
No injuries were reported for this accident. Because of the professional response by the fire fighters, an accident was likely prevented.
