Worker Crushed to Death by Tanker

Posted on February 25th, 2009 51 Comments

A worker in the Dallas area died on Monday in a work related accident.  The accident happened just before noon.  The man was killed while sweeping an area, and then a large tanker weighing several tons fail on him.  The worker died immediatly from the force of the tanker.

The man was discovered by another co-worker who called 911 and reported the emergency.  The worker then used a fork lift to raise the tanker off the man's body. The accident is currently under investigation right now as authorities hope to figure out how this happened.

If you or someone you know has been injured in a construction site accident, contact the Philadelphia workers' compensation lawyers of Lowenthal & Abrams, P.C. at 610-667-7511 for more information on your legal right to compensation.
