Animal Attacks
Although at first it seems unlikely, there are actually some circumstances in which an animal attack while on the job could happen. Companies who work with animals on a regular basis would obviously have employees who face this risk. A zoo, a circus, and an animal catching service all have workers that could be victims of an animal attack on a regular basis.
At the zoo, the animals involved are typically massive and very strong. Lions, tigers, bears, sharks, crocodiles, alligators, snakes, and other predatory animals are typically kept in smaller environments. Although they are usually raised in captivity and trained to be docile, their trainers and handlers are always at risk of an unexpected outburst or attack.
These attacks can be very vicious, as the animals are extremely powerful and, when they do decide to attack, the victim is basically defenseless. Animal catching services, circuses, and pest control companies are all at risk for animal attacks on a regular basis.
Also, companies who do not work with animals could potentially have an attack. Some companies have an office pet, such as a dog, that could attack workers. Many people would not think of office pets as vicious animals, but they have been known to attack employees on occasion.
